About SERP Simulator

A SERP simulator shows how your page's title tag and meta description will look in Google search results before you publish. Type your title, URL, and description and the preview updates live — measuring pixel width (not just character count), because Google truncates snippets by pixels. Toggle desktop and mobile to catch titles that fit on one but get cut off on the other. It runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a title tag be?
Google shows roughly the first 600 pixels of a title on desktop — about 50–60 characters — and less on mobile. This tool measures the actual pixel width and warns you before it's cut off, since a wide 'W' takes more room than a thin 'i'.
How long should a meta description be?
Aim for about 120–158 characters. Google shows up to roughly 920 pixels on desktop and around 680 on mobile; beyond that the text is truncated with an ellipsis. The preview flags when yours will be cut.
Why does Google cut off my title even though it's short?
Google measures pixel width, not character count. A title with wide capital letters can exceed the pixel limit at fewer characters. Switch to the mobile view too — the limit there is smaller, so a desktop-safe title can still be trimmed on phones.
Is my data private?
Yes. The preview and all measurements are computed in your browser with JavaScript; your title, URL, and description are never sent to a server.
