- I see a black screen — what's wrong?
- Make sure the right camera is selected, no other app (like a video-call tool) is using it, and the lens cover is open. If permission was blocked, re-enable it in your browser's site settings.
- Is my video recorded or uploaded?
- No. The preview runs entirely in your browser and nothing is captured or transmitted — the tool only displays the live camera feed.
- What do resolution and FPS mean?
- Resolution is the image size your camera provides (like 1280×720), and FPS is frames per second — how smooth the video is. Higher values generally mean better quality.
