About Open Graph Generator

An Open Graph generator creates the meta tags that control how your page looks when shared on Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and other platforms. Fill in your title, description, URL, and image and it writes the full set of og: and twitter: tags for you to copy into your page's <head> — with a live preview of the social card as you type. It runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you enter is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

What is the ideal Open Graph image size?
Use 1200×630 pixels (a 1.91:1 ratio) for the large image card that Facebook, X, and LinkedIn show. Keep it under about 8 MB and use PNG or JPG; smaller square images fall back to a small thumbnail instead.
Do I need separate Twitter Card tags?
Not usually. X (Twitter) falls back to Open Graph tags when Twitter-specific ones are missing, so this tool mirrors your title, description, and image into twitter: tags and sets twitter:card automatically.
Where do I put these meta tags?
Paste them inside the <head> of your page's HTML. After publishing, use the platform's own debugger (Facebook Sharing Debugger, X Card Validator) to re-scrape the page so the new card shows.
Why isn't my link preview showing an image?
The most common causes are a missing og:image tag, an image URL that isn't publicly reachable, or the platform caching an old scrape. Add the tag, use an absolute https URL, then re-scrape with the platform's debugger.
